One of the special features of the new museum is th Laboratory, which serves as a small art gallery within the museum and which allows for a different exhibition format. Artists are invited regularly to develop new works for this room. The first one is the Swiss artist Zilla Leutenegger (*1968) who grew up in Chur. She followed the emergence of the room during its construction and has chosen the light falling into the architecture as starting point for a new body of work.

In the entrance hall of the Museum the movie Solo Moon Walks, 2016, Video (2.04 Min.) is screened during the time of the exhibition.
