The Foundation Bündner Art Collection is a private foundation and was established in 1929. The organization is responsible for and owner of the art collection of the Art Museum Graubünden. Its goal is to keep and preserve the art of Grisons at the museum and impart knowledge about it. The Foundation Bündner Art Collection is responsible for purchases, loans, and publications. In funding new acquisitions it is supported by the Canton of Graubünden.
